Simon A. Hall – a lifetime in insurance broking

Simon has spent his working lifetime in insurance broking since beginning his career at Lloyd’s of London in 1981. During that time he has become a leading authority in broking insurance for ‘four legged creatures’ and other agricultural risks.

Simon began his career at Hartley Cooper and then in 1986 was a founding partner of Fraser Insurance Brokers, becoming a board director of Swire Blanch in 1992 following Swire Group’s acquisition of the firm.

He transferred to Dallas in 1997 and spent 4 years as Senior Vice President managing Blanch Wholesale Insurance Services Inc. , before setting up BMG Inc. Simon has dual UK/US citizenship and relocated to the UK to manage the launch of BMG UK and steward the business through the Lloyd’s accreditation process.

Simon has extensive knowledge, interest and expertise in the following specialist areas:

• Pet insurance broking
• Bloodstock insurance broking
• Broking agricultural risks insurance

Simon is married with three sons, lives in Hampshire and enjoys flying, swimming and walking.
