Steve Wicks – a lifetime in Lloyd’s broking

Steve has spent his working life in the insurance sector. He began his career at Oakley Vaughn, where he became a partner. He then followed the business through acquisition by Crawley Warren and subsequently Swire Blanch.

Now with 35 years of high level business experience to call upon Steve is a popular figure in the City of London and the Lloyd’s market, although he denies this has anything to do with looking like Richard Gere’s younger brother. Actually it’s all to do with his total professionalism and a depth of expertise and breadth of specialist experience in two specific fields:

• Bloodstock insurance broking
• Livestock insurance broking

Steve is married with two children. His hobbies include sports ‘ he is an ardent Arsenal fan ‘ and travel.
